Butch joined Barry Real Estate Companies in March of 2007 to lead the company's hotel development efforts. Butch Ross has been involved in every facet of the hotel industry including hotel management, construction services and full-scale development over his 20-year career. Butch is a partner in Barry Hotel Partners, LLC and is responsible for assembling the hotel development team and directing the efforts of numerous hotel projects throughout the country. Butch attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas hotel business school and graduated with honors from The George Washington University. Butch is married to wife, Dana, and has two children, Allie and Holden.
Project Experience

David joined Barry Hotel Partners in April 2007 and is focused on the design and construction of the company's hotel projects. Prior to joining Barry Hotel Partners, David managed his own company, Edwards Development Services (EDS). David successfully ran EDS for over 16 years, providing development and construction management expertise to the real estate industry. Prior to forming EDS, David was Vice President of Construction for The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company. At Ritz-Carlton, David was responsible for supervising project developers in multiple locations. Prior to Ritz-Carlton, David was Vice President for Development at Portman-Barry Investments. David received a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from The Georgia Institute of Technology.
Project Experience

Tarik joined Barry Hotel Partners in June 2007 and is primarily focused on transactional structuring and financial analysis for all Barry Hotel Partners developments, including joint ventures and financings. Prior to joining Barry Hotel Partners, Tarik was an attorney with Rogers Towers, P.A. in Jacksonville, Florida, where he advised a wide array of landowners and developers on land use and entitlement issues. Tarik is originally from Jacksonville, Florida. He received a B.S. in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University in 2002, as well as a Master of Science in Real Estate and Juris Doctor from the University of Florida in 2005. Tarik is currently a member of the ULI Atlanta Chapter and is actively involved in the University of Florida - Friends and Alumni of Real Estate Organization.

Ryan joined Barry Hotel Partners in August 2007 and will focus on the design and construction of specific hotel projects. Prior to joining Barry Hotel Partners, Ryan worked for several top 20 general contractors and has experience in all phases of project delivery. Ryan received a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and is completing a Masters of Business Administration at Emory University. Ryan and his wife, Amy reside in Atlanta.
