Jeannie Knowles is a Property Manager for Barry Real Estate Companies and manages Wachovia Tower located in Birmingham, AL. Wachovia Tower is a 34-story, Class AAA office tower located in the heart of Downtown Birmingham. The building consists of 514,893 RSF and is the tallest building in Birmingham and the second tallest in the State of Alabama.
Jeannie has an impressive background in property management. Prior to joining Barry, she managed a diverse portfolio of over 3,000,000 square feet of commercial real estate, comprised primarily of high-rise office buildings, both multi-tenant and owner-occupied, as well as medical professional office buildings, retail banking offices and data centers. In addition, Jeannie has experience in project management and has been responsible for overseeing the construction of new banking facilities, office building renovations and tenant improvements. Most of her experience was gained during a 20-year span of employment with AmSouth Bank (now Regions Financial) and Compass Bank.
Jeannie's professional associations include BOMA and IFMA. Jeannie received BOMA Birmingham's 2007 Property Manager of the Year Award. She serves on BOMA Birmingham's The Office Building of the Year (TOBY) Committee. She is a member of Operation New Birmingham and the Birmingham Regional Chamber of Commerce. She is actively involved with The Chamber and has been recognized as one of their top fundraisers over the past twelve years.
